Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP) produces the largest annual, community-oriented photography festival in the USA.
Whether it's through photojournalism, fine art, or Instagram, photography is the most powerful storyteller of our era. Through exploring the possibilities of this fastest growing art form, ACP engages diverse audiences, promotes venues and supports the work of almost 1000 photographers, local and abroad. Join us as we explore the dynamic spaces where photography intersects with contemporary life and culture!
Your support helps ACP produce about 20 programs, most of which are free and open to the public. These programs range from acclaimed public art, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, international collaborative projects, a film series, programs with youth in high schools and middle schools, and much more. We also produce year long programs like our portraiture class with inpatient teens at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Entering our 20th year, ACP remains the only organization that supports multiple levels of Atlanta’s photography community, from amateur hobbyist to full-time artist, and promotes them, both locally and nationally. ACP also collaborates with museums, academic and commercial art institutions as well as alternative spaces to promote exhibitions and programs of high quality that enrich our community.
We cannot succeed or continue to offer so many diverse programs
(see ‘programs’ at ACPinfo.org
) without the generous support of people like yourself.
We strive to make an impact on Atlanta’s cultural landscape, the photography loving community and in the lives of everyday individuals.
