$150,000 goal
During this holiday season, please help The Peter Uba Foundation in raising funds for the homeless, children, low-income families, home-bound, disabled, and the elderly in Southwest Atlanta, Georgia.
Your tax-deductible donation will help with food, clothing, and groceries for our families and communities in need.
For many of us, wondering where we will get our next meal or if we will have shelter tonight is inconsequential. For millions around the world, it is a daily struggle!
Nearly 1 in 8 Georgians is living with food insecurity, including 1 in 6 children. The Peter Uba Foundation is working to address hunger and food insecurity by:
- Increasing access to food pantries and food kitchens in targeted locations within the city where there is food insecurity and hunger.
- Creating a neighborhood thrift store where the needy can get coats, blankets, and weather suitable clothing.
- Delivering ready-made meals to the elderly and the homebound.
- Conducting intake assessments and making appropriate referrals to community agencies and organizations.
- Advocating for increased community resources
- Conducting nutrition education classes
Our Foundation's mission is to provide marginalized and underserved populations access to critical health, social, and economic resources. We believe in playing a vital role in building necessary services and providing resources to stabilize the lives of those we serve.
At The Peter Uba Foundation, we are committed to making a difference and helping to create a better tomorrow for all.
