WHERE HOPE HAS AN ADDRESS

40 years ago, Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity began with a simple but powerful belief: Everyone deserves a decent place to call home.

What started as a vision has grown into a movement that has helped more than 480 families find stability, build equity, and create brighter futures. Across Butts, Clayton, Fayette, Henry, and Newton counties, we have turned empty lots into thriving neighborhoods and helped families turn the dream of homeownership into reality.

But a home is about so much more than four walls and a roof.

An Address Is More Than a Location. It's a Lifeline.

It's where a child has a safe place to sleep and the stability to thrive in school.

It's where parents can close the front door at night, knowing their family is safe.

It's where a garden takes root, holiday traditions begin, and families create memories that last a lifetime.

For The Wilson's, it's where their daughter takes her first steps.

For The Martinez's , it's where they plant their first garden.

For The Burney's, it's where they gathered around their own dining table for the very first holiday dinner.

Every address tells a story. Every home represents a new beginning. And every story starts with an opportunity.

40 Years of Hope. A Future We Can Build Together.

This year, we celebrate 40 years of building hope throughout the Southern Crescent.

  • More than 480 families served through affordable homeownership.

  • Thousands of volunteers engaged in transforming communities.

  • Millions of dollars invested in strengthening our local communities.

These milestones represent more than numbers. They represent families who have gained stability, children who have room to dream, and communities made stronger through the power of partnership.

But our work is not finished.

Too many families in our community are still struggling to find safe, affordable housing. Too many are waiting for the opportunity to build a future rooted in stability and financial security.

As we celebrate four decades of impact, we are looking toward the next 40 years with an even greater commitment to making homeownership possible for more families.

This Giving Tuesday, Help Give Hope an Address.

On December 2, your generosity can help write the next chapter of our story.

Your gift does more than help build a house. It helps create:

  • Stability for families working toward a stronger financial future.

  • Opportunity for children to grow, learn, and thrive.

  • Community through neighborhoods where families can put down roots.

  • Independence through affordable homeownership, financial education, and home maintenance preparation.

Whether you give $40 in honor of our 40 years or make a larger investment in the future of our community, every contribution moves us closer to a world where everyone has a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home.

Hope Has an Address. Help Us Build the Next One.

For 40 years, volunteers, donors, partners, and advocates like you have helped make home possible.

Now, we invite you to be part of what comes next.

Give today. Build tomorrow. Help make sure hope has an address for generations to come.
