Paws Humane Society

Founded in 2009, Paws Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for 10 years. Paws is the Chattahoochee Valley’s largest animal welfare organization and leads the region with a comprehensive adoption program, affordable veterinary services, Pets for Life Outreach program, Community Cat program, Foster Care, and Volunteer opportunities.

On an average day, Paws cares for 125-150 animals in our shelter and foster care. We find loving homes for more than 1500 dogs, cats, and small critters and we spay/neuter more than 6,300 animals annually through our affordable Veterinary Clinic.

Paws Humane Society receives no federal, state or city government funding, and relies upon private support and contributions from our community to fulfill our lifesaving mission. Paws provides many critical resources to the Chattahoochee Valley, but this would not be possible without the support of the community.
