On My Mothers Shoulders Inc

On My Mother’s Shoulders is a 501(c)3 organization that serves students that are homeless or experiencing housing in securities.  We provide free access to full size toiletries.   We are often ask how can a student attending college be homeless.  Well,  after paying tuition, students are sometimes left with a very little to spend therefore our toiletry pantry comes in handy, another is some who age out of foster care with very little support system.   Our vision statement says it all, when you smell good you feel good and then you can achieve greatness.   To date we are on 12 campuses in Georgia, which is rapidly growing.   OMMS not only starts pantries on various campuses, but we continually keep them stocked.   If our students show resilience in attending and completing college, the least we can do is to provide basic hygiene products so that it will be one less thing to be concerned about.
